Javier Bardem to Make a Romantic Declaration in Public

Romance was out in the air at the award ceremony night of the recently concluded Cannes Film festival. The Oscar winning Spanish actor Javier Bardem opened his heart before the whole world and owed the best actor trophy that he won for actress Penelope Cruz.

Both actors are in a relationship from the year 2007 and have never brought their love before limelight. Javier who shared the best actor prize with Italian actor Elio Hermano made such an announcement after receiving his trophy. The actor dedicated his achievement to Penelope and said it was due to her that he managed to achieve everything. Javier who is known for fiercely protecting his private life took everyone in public including Penelope.

The couple has never declared their love in public and this was the first time that they accepted their relation. Javier’s sudden move reduced Penelope Cruz to tears as she was \ surprised.

Javier got recognition for his performance in Biutiful. The best actress award was won by the French Actress Juliette Binoche for her role in Copie Conforme. The most covetous award of Cannes, the Palme d’Or went to the Thai film, Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past lives.
