She’s on her way to becoming fashion’s first billionairess and she’s not afraid to share the wealth. Singer-turned-designer Jessica Simpson has earned a spot on Hollywood’s VIP list of Generous Tippers after she graciously gifted a stellar server with a $300 tip after dining at an Italian eatery in Manhattan last week.
Jessica left a 60% tip on top of a $500 restaurant bill after having dinner with her mother, assistant, and two friends at Lavo New York. Simpson confided in the waitress about her hard day at work before ordering Macallan — 18-year-old single-malt Scotch whisky — which she drank with ice and paired with an unusual dish of fried Oreo cookies and veal parmigiano.
The “Sweetest Sin” singer also left a positive message to the server, thanking her for the listening ear and speedy service:
“You were amazing and make this world a better place, Love Jess.”
That must have been one helluva veal parmiagiano!
