Kate Walsh Is Now Single by Law

Kate Walsh and her ex film executive Alex Young have now been legally freed by the court to marry other people.

A Los Angeles judge has dissolved the couple’s 14 month long marriage. Kate and Alex got married to each other in September 2007 but Young had filed a case of divorce in November 2008 due to the arising differences between the two.

The former couple tossed a coin to decide the division of the property when they reached for the divorce settlement. Half of the community property furniture and artwork was to be divided by alternating picks after the flip of a coin to determine who will pick first.

Young will be receiving an amount of $627,000 as part of the settlement including half of residuals for all the work performed by Walsh during their marriage.
