Kevin Hart Marries Eniko Parrish: Get the Details About Their Big Day

As Kevin Hart has told us before: I’m gonna lock the chocolate up and put it in the freezer…he’s married! 

A source confirms to E! News that the 37-year-old actor and his wife, Eniko Parrish, tied the knot Saturday evening during a beautiful ceremony near Santa Barbara, Calif.

The actor—who got down on one knee back in August of 2014—has talked to us quite a bit about the wedding, admitting his only job leading up to the big day was cutting the check.

“I don’t like to talk about it ’cause I don’t know details,” he told E! News in an interview last month. “What I do say is, ‘Honey, you have an amount. Don’t go above the amount. Come to me when it’s time to sign the check. It’s your day to be happy.'”

However, he did help pick out the guest list, which he admits isn’t always easy. His advice? “You make sure that you invite the people that can’t come up to you later and go, ‘Hey man why didn’t you invite me?'”

“It’s not a day about who was there,” he continued. “It’s a day for us.”

Ahead of the festivities, Kevin enjoyed a fun-filled day with his bride-to-be and his two children at the beach in Santa Barbara. A source tells E! News, “Kevin and Eniko were very affectionate and were seen kissing occasionally and also Kevin’s arm wrapped around her waist as they were walking.”

Later that night, the Hart family enjoyed a celebratory dinner with friends at Lucky’s Steakhouse, the source added. The comedian documented the affair on Snapchat, posing with his 8-year-old son Hendrix, who he shared was on best man duty, and 11-year-old daughter Heaven.

Kevin began his official wedding prep on Saturday morning with a workout and hearty breakfast at The Biltmore in Montecito. Dwayne Wade and three others joined Kevin for the outing, who a source told us, “was super happy and in a great mood.”

The main focus of Kevin and Enika’s special day has always been each other from the start. They decided not to have the “traditional” wedding “you see every day in the movie” (though they did stick to traditional attire), instead making sure it’s a day to remember. 

“You don’t do what’s been done. You don’t do the norm,” he told us recently. “This is a different generation, and this is a different day. So you make your day what you want it to be. That’s the beauty of a wedding!”

Meanwhile, this marks Hart’s second wedding as he was previously married to Torrei Hart, which he acknowledges going into the new chapter with Parrish.

“I’m excited. I got a good one,” he gushed. “And I think this time around—this is marriage number two. I’ve made mistakes in the past and as you get older you grow and you change, and at this point in my life, this is what I want. I’m ready for it.”
