Settle down, Reality TV fans, your favorite bootylicious Armenian hasn’t kicked the button just yet.

Kim Kardashian is among the stars playing dead for the new AIDS charity campaign we told you about on Sunday. Tasteful eh?

“We’re trying to sort of make the remark: Why do we care so much about the death of one celebrity as opposed to millions and millions of people dying in the place that we’re all from?” says Leigh Blake, president and co-founder of Alicia Keys’ Keep a Child Alive charity, who is sponsoring the charity event.

Alicia Keys, Keep a Child Alive Global Ambassador, looked through her celeb phone book to recruit celebs, like Kim, to participate in the initiative. The concept behind the campaign is simple: Beginning this Wednesday, Dec. 1 — which happens to be World AIDS Day — a group of big-name celebs will refrain from using their social networking pages until $1 million has been raised for the charity. Because not being on Twitter is like being dead!

“Once I got people on the phone and I was able to paint the concept for them, everybody was in,” Alicia explains.

We can look forward to “Last Tweet and Testament” videos from the likes of Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams, and Alicia’s hubby — hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz.

Complications of HIV/AIDS killed more than 25 million people worldwide between 1981 and 2007.
