An interesting debate is brewing on the blogosphere. If you thought Lady Gaga’s current charttopper, “Alejandro,” sounded familiar, your ears might just be onto something.

In what many fans are chocking up to nothing more than a coincidence while others are suspecting something more deliberate, Lady Gaga’s most recent smash is bearing some similarities to Ace of Base’s 1994’s hit “Don’t Turn Around.”

In fact, the tunes share such a shocking resemblance, a YouTube aficionado has put together a mashup of the two songs.
