LeAnn Rimes’ Nemesis Brandi Glanville Arrested For DUI: “I Messed Up”

Guess we know how Brandi Glanville is adapting to the single life: With flask in hand!

Glanville made headlines in 2009 when her then-husband — actor Eddie Cibrian — was caught with his pants down (Not literally, of course…) in a workplace romance with singer/actress LeAnn Rimes. These days, Glanville’s in the news for an entirely different reason — although just as scandalous. She was arrested in Los Angeles early Friday morning after LA cops pulled her over on Sunset Boulevard for an unnamed traffic violation. After picking up on her glassy eyes and slurred speech as telltale signs of intoxication, Glanville was given a field sobriety test and arrested for suspicion of DUI.

The former model and mother-of-two was released a short time later on $5,000 bail.

A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed Glanville’s arrested in a statement. “She was driving on Sunset and was stopped by police. She failed her sobriety test and was arrested.”

Over the weekend, Glanville took to her Twitter page to apologize for her driving drunk. She admits she “messed up.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions. I regret my bad choice, and am thankful to God that no one got hurt. I’m sorry,” Glanville wrote.

The model’s divorce from Cibrian was finalized in September. The pair separated in July 2009. A month later, Cibrian admitted to having an affair with Rimes and filed for divorce. Rimes also divorced her husband, Dean Sheremet. Cibrian and Rimes currently live together in Los Angeles.
