English pop singer Lily Allen is expecting her first child with builder boyfriend Sam Cooper.
The outspoken songstress, who is three months pregnant, spilled the beans on the bun in her oven to reporters in her native Britain on Wednesday.
“It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted,” Lily exclaimed.
Allen has been dating Cooper, 32, for the past year.
The 25-year-old charttopper — whose pop career has seen her notch the best-selling albums, Alright, Still and It’s Not Me, It’s You — is best known across the Music World for her No. 1 singles “Smile” and “The Fear,” which sailed to the top of the UK charts in 2007 and 2008, respectively.
In January 2008, Allen suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant during her brief union with Ed Simons, one half of dance duo The Chemical Brothers.
