Lindsay Lohan Sheds Tears in Court: 90-day Sentence to Jail

Lindsay Lohan’s case hit all tabloid headlines again: the Mean Girls star was convicted and sent to serve her 90-day-term in jail. The reason for such a decision was the actress’s probation violation.

When Californian Judge Marsha Revel was reading out the verdict, Lindsay Lohan, 24 turned on the waterworks and sniveled on the shoulder of her attorney.

The star’s term will start on July 20. Moreover, after that, the actress will have to spend 90 days in a rehab as an inpatient in connection with a program concerning substance abuse.

It is known that Lindsay Lohan was absent from her alcohol education classes and in such a way infringed her probation terms. The star was tearfully justifying herself in front of the judge, claiming that she did it not on purpose: her tough work schedule prevented her from sticking to all the terms of her probation, however, in her opinion, she had done her best to follow the order.

But the strict judge didn’t accept any excuses from the star and her attorney. It was known to the court that the actress missed her alcohol education classes held once a week nine times.
