After her release from the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California, cocaine-addicted actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly taking her recovery from drug addiction to another rehabilitation center.

But not without one last quick charity promo tour for the road.

Lohan is using her new-found freedom to focus on the plight of homeless teenagers, same of which she visited at a youth shelter in Los Angeles just two days after she was freed from her second tour in prison. Accompanied by her mother Dina, younger sister Ali, and two friends, LiLo dropped in for a visit to The Dream Center in LA’s Echo Park neighborhood on Sunday.

The actress spent the day talking to teens whose lives are far cry from the fairytale existence Lindsay enjoyed as a millionaire Disney child star when she was their age. She also signed autographs and posed for pictures. After spending a few hours with the residents, Lohan presented each of the young women at the shelter with a designer purse before departing.

“What a great place The Dream Center is here in LA… Had a nice time there today, it’s so important to give back. I feel blessed,” Lohan wrote in a post to fans on her Twitter page Sunday.

The charity trek didn’t come without a bit of controversy, however.

“All accept the paparazzi hitting one of the ministry guys. They need to be stopped. I think this is a job for The Terminator,” she wrote in another Tweet.

The Mean Girls star was jailed on Friday for the second time this summer after she was found to have breached her probation by failing two court-ordered drugs tests. She was later granted bail and walked free after less than 12 hours behind bars.

Lohan will check into rehab again this week, according to new reports.
