Oscar-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg is in talks to star in a remake of the 1994 dark drama The Crow. Faux Pas or Casting Magic?
The Other Guys star is the top choice to play the anti-hero in Stephen Norrington revamp of the Alex Proyas/Brandon Lee original, Entertainment Weekly said Wednesday. The long-awaited sequel will follow a murdered man who returns to Detroit from the dead to avenge his death and that of his girlfriend. Norrington describes James O’Barr’s comic book character as “realistic, hard-edged and mysterious.”
