Matt Lauer to Divorce with His Wife Annette

Matt Lauer, the host of the show “Today” is headed for a divorce from his Dutch born wife Annette. If the reports are to be believed the couple is staying separately since two months and has started the legal processes for getting divorced.

There are many reasons speculating around for the couple’s split. Lauer has been spending a series of wild nights in Vancouver where he went to cover the winter Olympics.

The Enquirer reports that the couple had a heated argument once Lauer returned from Vancouver. Annette came to know that her husband was partying at various night spots in Vancouver and was flirting around with many women. She also heard that her husband is flirting around with the wife of another staff at “Today”.

This is not the first time that the couple is set to split. In the year 2006 also they had filed an application in the court to get separated and later withdrew the request after reconciliation from the part of their friends. The ex wife of Laurer, Nancy Alspaugh, responded to the news saying that she was very shocked and sad to hear of the news. The couple has three children Jack, Rony and Thijs
