Miranda Kerr puts her apartment up for sale

Australian model Miranda Kerr has put up her Manhattan apartment for sale, as she and husband actor Orlando Bloom nest at his LA mansion ahead of the arrival of their child.

The one bedroom apartment has been priced at 1.395 million dollars, meaning Kerr, 27, would make a modest 295,000-dollar profit should she get her asking price, News.com.au reported.

She had bought the 10th floor Chelsea apartment, the interior of which was designed by Jade Jagger, in 2006 for 1.1 million dollars.

The pad, situated on West 19th Street, has stark white walls and flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, and two Juliet balconies.

The centrepiece of the cosy bedroom is a queen-sized bed, alongside which stands an ornate side table. A small flatscreen TV is mounted on the wall, beside a fitted wardrobe.

The loungeroom is also simple and chic, mixing periodic furniture with high-end mod cons such as a plasma TV.

Oddly the apartment also features an oversized shower and toilet with a glass wall facing the middle of the nine metre wide living room.

The building has two floors of terraced space for residents.
