The Aftermath: Jason Clarke is in talks to costar in The Aftermath. It’s based on a novel by Rhidian Brook, and takes place in Germany shortly after the conclusion of World War II. The story follows a woman who is reunited with her husband, only to learn that they must share their home with the previous German owners. Keira Knightley and Alexander Skarsgard are already set to star. [Variety]
Godzilla: Toho, the Japanese company behind a long-running series of live-action Godzilla movies and spin-offs, will produce its first animated version starring the giant monster. Titled Godzilla, the animated movie is set for release next year. [Variety]
The Lost Boys: Writer/producer Rob Thomas, known for creating the popular TV series Veronica Mars, will adapt the 1987 vampire movie The Lost Boys for the small screen. The plan is for an anthology show on The CW network covering a period of 70 years over seven seasons, beginning in San Francisco in 1967. Thomas recently adapted the comic book series iZombie for The CW. [Deadline]
