Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot: Jonah Hill and Rooney Mara are in talks to join a drama about the life and times of cartoonist John Callahan. Joaquin Phoenix is set to play Callahan, who was paralyzed at the age of 21 and “turned to drawing as a form of therapy.” The movie is based on his autobiography, Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot, which was published in 1989. Gus Van Sant is set to direct. [Variety]

Logan: In a new photo from Logan, Hugh Jackman stands with his back to the camera, alone with his thoughts. The action movie, which features Jackman in what he says will be his final performance as the superhero, has already received early praise for its gritty, brutal tone. The Faces: Mickey Keating (Carnage Park, above) will write and direct The Faces, described as “a sci-fi paranoid thriller.” No other details about the story have been announced. The filmmaker has quickly built a reputation for independently-produced horror and sci-fi movies; Lionsgate has stepped in early to acquire rights. [THR]
Going in Style Trailer: Times are tough for senior citizens Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin, so they decide to rob a bank. The first trailer for the new version of Going in Style also features Ann-Margret; Zach Braff directed. The comedy opens in theaters on April 7. [Movieclips]
