Marvel Cinematic Universe: Stan Lee, who is an obligatory element of all movies based on Marvel Comics properties, has shot specifically tailored cameos for the next four MCU installments — Doctor StrangeGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok. And the interesting thing is he did all of them in a single day of filming in Atlanta. Jumanji: Four young actors have joined the cast of Jumanji as teenagers who are sucked into a video game and then represented in that game by avatars played by stars Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillen, Kevin Hart and Jack Black. The “JumanjiJuniors,” as Johnson called them in a tweet (featuring the image above), are Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blain and Morgan Turner. Jumanji is now filming and is due in theaters July 28, 2017. Wildlife: Paul Dano will make his directorial debut with an adaptation of Richard Ford’s 1990 novel Wildlife. Dano also co-wrote the script with partner Zoe Kazan. Carey Mulligan and Jake Gyllenhaal are set to star. The coming-of-age story is about a teenage boy who watches his parents’ marriage fall apart in 1960s Montana. Gyllenhaal and Dano previously worked together onscreen in Prisoners, pictured above. [Variety]

The Beat Beneath My Feet Trailer: Luke Perry is back for some ’90s nostalgia as an American grunge icon thought to be dead living under a false identity in the UK. When a teenage boy with musical aspirations discovers the former rock star is his neighbor, he gets the recluse to be his mentor. The British indie coming-of-age movie opens in the U.S. on October 21. [Movieclips]
