Mukesh Ambani takes control of broadband wireless access

Mukesh Ambani has stage a huge comeback in the telecom sector as he bought Infotel Broadband, which would be offering high, speed data services. It is to be noted that Infotel had bid the most in the broadband wireless access spectrum auctions and thus had 20MHz of spectrum in al the 22-telecom circle of India.

After buying the Infel Broadband, now RIL of Mukesh Ambani has gained more control of the spectrum as compared to the other players of the field.

RIL will now pay one fifth of what other 3G bidders have paid for per MHz of spectrum for more effective network planning only 20 MHz is primarily required.
