NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey made their first steps toward a new friendship as they enjoyed a double date with their husbands, Gregg Leakes and Peter Thomas, during Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!
Leakes and Bailey’s friendship fell apart during RHOA‘s Season 7. However, Leakes kicked off her surprise return to the show with a visit to her former bestie’s home!
After announcing her comeback in shady fashion in her confessional, Leakes and Bailey greeted each other with a warm hug and tons of laughs!
But as the duo settled down to enjoy the food Bailey prepared for their get-together, Bailey quickly addressed one lingering issue she had with Leakes.
While discussing how their children kept in touch on social media during their lengthy rift, Bailey called out Leakes for still having her blocked on a social media site!
“Speaking of social media, I’m going to need you to unblock me, missy,” Bailey said.
“I have you blocked!” Leakes replied sarcastically!
“Yes you do!” Bailey answered, prompting Leakes to burst out laughing!
“I had to unfollow you since you went ahead and blocked me. But I’m going to follow you again. But first you’ve got to unblock me. I can’t even follow you back,” Bailey added.
“Okay! We’re gonna work on that tonight,” Leakes said.
“I just wanted to get back to being the fabulous NeNe Leakes. So, in order to do that, you have to hit the block button. Bing, bing and bing!” Leakes added with a laugh during her confessional, explaining why she blocked Bailey in the first place.
“But I’ve opened up those doors again to Cynthia,” Leakes admitted. “So I think it’s okay now.”
The duo went on to share how heartbroken they were over the break down of their friendship. But their chat took a bit of a turn when Bailey admitted to Leakes that she was now good friends with Kenya Moore, leading Leakes to give her a bit of a side-eye.
However, once Bailey reassured Leakes that no one could ever take her spot, Leakes decided to move on from the topic of Bailey’s friendship with Moore.
Elsewhere during the episode, Apollo Nida spoke to his estranged wife, Phaedra Parks, and their oldest son, Ayden, from prison.
Parks, Kim Fields, Shereé Whitfield and Porsha Williams traveled to Washington, D.C., to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March!
