Mark your calendars, Music Fans: Taylor Swift’s third album, entitled Speak Now, will be released Oct. 25.

The LP will serve as the follow-up to Swift’s smash set, Fearless. That disc was the top-selling album of 2009 and earned the guitar-strumming twentysomething every major award in the recording industry, including four Grammys.

“You’ve got to give yourself a little bit of time to live a lot of things so you can write about a lot of things,” Taylor said during a Ustream chat with fans on Tuesday.

The squinty-eyed beauty explains that the title, Speak Now, is the theme, and that “track by track, each song is a different confession to a different person.”

All 14 tracks were penned by Taylor herself. Get those iPods ready: “Mine,” the lead single from Speak Now, will be released Aug. 16.

Taylor is also planning a world tour to accompany the album’s release.
