Nadya Suleman doesn’t want your dog or cat following in her footsteps.

On Wednesday, Suleman unveiled a 3-foot-by-4-foot plastic sign — perched in the middle of her front lawn — that reads: “Don’t Let Your Dog or Cat Become an Octomom. Always Spay or Neuter.”

The 34-year-old mother of 14 earned the nickname Octomom after delivery of eight babies conceived through in vitro fertilization in Jan. 2009. A year after giving birth to what wil hopefully be her last litter of crotchfruit, the single, unemployed woman seems to have learned that one way to supplement her income is to exploit the celebrity media for attention and money that can be used to bring up her brood.

The dingbats of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are paying Suleman $5,000 to display the sign in the front yard of the lush La Habra home she almost lost to foreclosure last month. As an added incentive, the animal rights group is throwing in a month’s supply of veggie burgers and veggie hot dogs for Suleman and her 14 children.
