Oprah had a huge surprise for fans in the studio audience for the 25th season premiere of The Oprah Show on Monday – and we are totally jealous!

The final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show premiered to stay-at-home moms and Daytime Stans everywhere this week, and audience thanked fans in the house for her last season premiere as The Queen of Talk with an all-expenses-paid eight-day trip to Australia!

Nearly 300 audience members clapped, cried, and hugged as Winfrey announced the trip and introduced pilot-actor John Travolta, who stepped out of a mock-up of a Qantas Airways jet rolled onto the stage.

“I started to think about where would I most want to go. Maybe I should take all of you with me to the other side of the world … We’re going to Australia! We are going to Australia! You and you and you and you, are going to Australia!” she bellowed.

With the help of special programs like “Oprah’s Favorite Things” and The Oprah Winfrey Scholarship Program, the famously generous Winfrey has gifted Apple iPads and $10,000 checks to fans and employees over the years. Most notably, on her 19th season premiere in 2004, Oprah gave a car every one of the 300 people in her studio audience.

“You get a car! You get a car! You get a car! Everybody gets a car!” she famously exclaimed.

The Oprah Winfrey Show ends in Sept. 2011. Winfrey won’t be off the airwaves after her talk show ends — her Oprah Winfrey Network is set to kick off on cable on Jan. 1. The end of The Oprah Show will be featured in a reality show on that network — titled “Behind the Scenes: Oprah’s 25th Season.”
