Pune records amazing success in IIT-JEE exams

Pune has shown a marked improvement in its performance in the Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination [IIT-JEE] as the city records a significant rise in the number of students clearing the examination and getting meritorious positions this The results of IIT, Madras were out on Wednesday.

Over 150 students from the city have not only passed the exams but have also figured in the all-India ranking merit list. The number of students enrolled for the examination in the city has also increased from 2,500 last year to over 3,500 in the current year.

Omkar Thakoor was the star performer from Pune. He was ranked eleventh position in the all-India ranking and recorder highest marks amongst the students appeared from the state. He hails from Bakliwal Tutorials of the city.

There are many other coaching schools which have achieved spectacular success in helping their students get meritorious positions in the examination. Many of the students appeared for the first time and cleared the prestigious exam.
