A heavily hyped, Michael Jackson-themed episode of “Glee” gave the show its best ratings since early in the season. It also helped “New Girl” grow from its last new episode two weeks ago.
Things were pretty quiet elsewhere — CBS put up a slate of repeats (and still led the night in total viewers), “The Biggest Loser” was off a bit and “Ringer” returned to The CW without much fanfare.
CBS scored 10.8 million viewers and a 6.9 rating/11 share in households Tuesday night, beating out FOX’s 7.5 million and 4.5/7. ABC (5.5 million, 3.6/6) came in third, followed by NBC (4.8 million, 3.1/5). The CW drew 1.4 million viewers and a 0.9/1.
FOX easily won the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.2 rating. CBS finished second at 1.7, and ABC and NBC tied for third at 1.6. The CW posted a 0.6.
