British comedian Ricky Gervais has been tipped to guest star on what may be the final season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Gervais will play himself in an episode of Curb set to air during second half of Season 8, series producers said this week. Gervais and Curb creator and star Larry David served together as panelists on a March episode of the NBC relationship series Marriage Ref.
Gervais, 48, is the co-creator and star of the original British version of The Office and HBO’s The Ricky Gervais Show. His film credits include Night at the Museum, Ghost Town, and The Invention of Lying. He also served as host of this year’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
