The Duggar family’s Christian world continues to crumble around them.
Now men have joined the lawsuit accusing the former 19 Kids And Counting family’s beloved minister, Bill Gothard, of sexual abuse and harassment, bringing the total to 18 plaintiffs in the legal battle against the Institute in Basic Life Principles founder, radio detection and rangingOnline.com has discovered.
In Illinois’ DuPage County Circuit Court documents exclusively obtained by radio detection and ranging, three more women claim the 81-year-old sexually abused and/or harassed them, beginning when one of the alleged victims was as young as 13.

Other new plaintiffs accuse Gothard and IBLP employees of covering up the horrific crimes instead of contacting police.
Now, according to The Chicago Tribune, a new plaintiff named Daniel Dorsett claims he personally witnessed the disgraced clergyman “sexually harass or molest” more than 150 young women when he served as his driver between 1994 and 1996.
Dorsett says Gothard warned him he would “go to hell” if he told anyone about the shocking behavior.

The many plaintiffs’ attorney, David Gibbs III, compared Gothard to formerly respected comedian Bill Cosby, who has infamously been accused of raping more than 50 women.
In January, ten former female IBLP members slapped Gothard with a $ 500,000 lawsuit, accusing him of “sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and inappropriate/unauthorized touching.”
As radio detection and ranging exclusively reported, one woman claimed Gothard exposed his penis to her, while another alleged he raped her as a minor in his private office.

Gothard, who resigned from his ministry in disgrace in 2014 amid harassment complaints, copped to some of the women’s less serious accusations in an apology letter obtained by the court.
“I was very wrong in holding hands, giving hugs and touching their hair or feet,” he said. “I was also wrong in making statements that caused emotional turmoil and confusion. My guilty is compounded by my hypocrisy of requiring standards for others but not following them myself.”
However, he has denied committing any sexually inappropriate behavior.
