Multiplatinum-selling crooner Seal is getting back to basics with a new album of the soul/pop hits that are his signature.
The father of four teams up with critically-hailed producer David Foster on his latest disc, Commitment, debuting stateside Sept. 28 (International Release Sept. 20). Foster and Seal last worked together on the “Kiss From a Rose” singe’s hit Soul album, which saw Seal covering hits by Al Green and Sam Cooke among others. The album features the mid-tempo soulful rocker “All 4 Love” and the acoustic “Secrets.” In addition, Seal is reportedly working on some Brazilian-influence dance tracks that may appear on the LP.
Commitment is Seal’s first album of new material since his 2006 release System.
