Spice launches new touchscreen handset

Spice Mobile has launched a new handset S-7000 in the Indian market. It is a touch screen phone with lots of new features. The company is marketing the phone as video phone with the claims that it is capable of supporting video formats. According to the company the formats that the phone can support includes RMVB, FLV, WMV, AVI, MP4, 3GP, MOB, DAT AND RM video.

The mobile phone comes with 3.2 mega pixel camera to ensure good quality pictures. It has an internal memory of 19MB and is extendable to 16 GB.

S-7000 has 3.2 inch WQVGA touch screen display and also has a digital surround sound. Bluetooth services also are available with the phone and it can support networking applications such as Nimbuszz and Facebook.

The company tied up with Disney to provide its content like wallpapers, screensavers ring tones and mobile themes on phone.
