“So I used to be a little bit unhappy about that, significantly his relationship with Poe, performed by the fantastic Oscar Isaac. That was simply so candy and so humorous, as a result of Poe was at all times sort of irritated by C-3PO, however in a pleasant approach.

Daniels acknowledged that The Rise of Skywalker was possible the final time he would play C-3PO – “and quite rightly”, he added.

“There’s plenty of galaxy yet to be explored. Who knows where various other writers and producers will take you, possibly without Threepio,” he famous.
