‘Teen Wolf’ loses another soul — to a Nazi Werewolf Ghost Rider?!

You know the final season of “Teen Wolf” is getting crazy when a Nazi Werewolf/Ghost Rider hybrid takes out one of the most precious characters to ever grace Beacon Hills High. Poor little chameleon Corey (Michael Johnston) is no more…

Well. At least as far as the pack is concerned, seeing as Corey was snatched up by a Ghost Rider whip.

It’s safe to assume he’s not dead-dead, but locked away in that ghostly train station with Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and the other kidnapped inhabitants of Beacon Hills. While he takes a time out, we’re going to speculate (and most likely come up with zero answers) about why the Nazi Werewolf — aka Mr. Douglas (Pete Ploszek) — would still want to become part Ghost Rider.

We know he’s been eating the brains (and possibly the souls) of multiple murder victims since the beginning of the season. His charm and good looks can’t hide the fact that he’s a seriously evil villain. So does that mean the Ghost Riders aren’t?

“I wouldn’t call them villains,” executive producer Jeff Davis says, “But they are a certain kind of force of nature. We like our villains on ‘Teen Wolf’ sometimes to not have villainous agendas… It’s very much a ghost story, and ghosts aren’t all bad. They just do things — and if you get in their way, that’s when you have a problem.”

They may not be villains, but they also didn’t seem to want to give Stiles or any of their other victims back to Scott (Tyler Posey). Whatever is keeping them in Beacon Hills — remember, we know from Theo (Cody Christian) that they don’t usually stick around — it’s bound to be no good. We keep coming back to the Nazi Werewolf and his agenda — He might be the real villain here, trapping the Ghost Riders and the Wild Hunt in one place in order to hunt them.

If that’s the case, the pack needs to find a way to get rid of him pronto.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Stiliniski (Linden Ashby) seems to be finally remember his son, thanks to a little banshee help from Lydia. Sadly, that means Claudia (Josey Honsa) might not be around much longer, since she’s likely just a conjured figment of the sheriff’s imagination to help him cope with the loss of his son: The inevitable moment when he has to let his dead wife go again will surely break our hearts.

“Teen Wolf” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
