If Teresa Giudice had her say, Danielle Staub would be added back to the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, posthaste.
After posing for the yoga photo seen ’round the world, and admitting to bitter rival Jacqueline Laurita during part one of the season seven reunion special that she wanted their former co-star to return to “attack” her, Tre is holding her ground, admitting that she never wanted Danielle off the show—despite chasing her off stage (and throwing Andy Cohen like a rag doll in the process) the last time she saw her during the season two reunion.
“I never had any problem with her, and I never wanted her off the show,” Teresa told E! News at the Brooklyn Rocks Fashion Show. “It was something that was out of my control. But I totally—if she wants to come back, I’m fine with that. I don’t know if other people are, but I’m fine with it.”
As for why she thinks the time is right for the infamous former Bravolebrity to make her return (aside from however it may torture Jacqueline), Teresa said she’s thinks Danielle’s owed an epilogue.
“She was attacked, and I guess she felt like she didn’t know how to come back from that because we were all attacking her. So I feel like she needs to come back and she probably has a lot to say, and I feel like she needs closure from that,” she admitted. “I’m sure she has a lot to say, so it’s good for her to get it out. She was shut out by a lot of people, and I feel like she should have her say.”
However, before we can look to what feels like Danielle’s inevitable return in season 10, we’ve still got this season nine reunion special to wrap up. In Sunday’s conclusion, Joe Gorga and Chris Laurita will join the ladies to discuss Tre’s shocking allegation that Jacqueline and Caroline Manzo called the government on her, with Dolores Catania somehow managing to keep the group from unraveling. Jacqueline will write off a relationship (our money’s on the one with Melissa Gorga, not Tre), while, in a shocking conclusion, Siggy Flicker‘s unusual wish for the group comes true.
