The Indian cricket team reached West Indies traveling long where MS. Dhoni feels that the bus ride from airport to hotel was extremely exhausting.

Dhoni said, “The two hour bus ride from the Airport to the hotel was more tiring than the entire IPL…look we can’t change the calendar. It has been like this for a long time now and we have gotten used to it.”

India will not be playing practice math due to shortage of time rather it will directly be playing the league game in St. Lucia. The men in blue will play their first match against Afghanistan on this Saturday followed by a second match next day against South Africa.

talking about the team players who performed well in the IPL but will miss the T20 World Cup, Dhoni said, “I have to admit that there were 3-4 guys who played very well in the IPL but are not part of our team, but then the ICC rules are such that we have to nominate our 30 member squad well in advance and so those guys missed out”.

Dhoni really admires the Caribbean culture and its people. He said, “I love the people here and love playing cricket here, though I must admit that I am more of a mountain guy than a beach person but inspite of that playing cricket here is a great experience and I am looking forward to the next 15 days.”

We wish a very good luck to the 2007 Champions to repeat the history.
