The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion Ends With Clowns, Nose Jobs and Group Hugs
And just like that, The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion came to a close. Not with a whimper, but some yelling, accusations, drama rehashing and yes, a group hug. First, that accusation. Yes, last week Teresa Giudice said she thinks Jacqueline Laurita and possibly Caroline Manzo called the federal government on her, resulting in her prison sentence and husband Joe Giudice‘s current prison term for fraud.
“I feel like she was definitely dabbling in it, she was speaking to people, getting information, to people that maybe those certain people then went to the feds,” Teresa clarified during part two of the reunion.
Chris Laurita came to his wife’s defense and pointed to a mutual friend who called Chris about about the Giudice drama, but this didn’t silence Teresa or Melissa Gorga on the accusations.
Sigh.
But while we’re on the topic of prison, or “camp,” Teresa said she was never tempted to get with a woman, but she did get massages that “would feel good.”
Regarding her charges and responsibility, Teresa said, “I know I’m not a bad person, I know I didn’t try to commit a crime.”
“The numbers that were on the paper were incorrect. That’s what I got in trouble for, I didn’t fill out that mortgage paper…all I did was signed on the dotted line,” she said, noting she wished the bank and mortgage broker who also signed the fraudulent paperwork would have also gone away. As for the lack of remorse it seemed like she displayed, Teresa hit back. “I spent 352 nights away from my daughters, I’d like that person to be away from their children for 352 days,” she said.
And then the hot-button topic: Joe could get deported when he finishes his prison sentence. “It’s a legal matter, so I’m not really supposed to discuss it and I guess we’ll deal with that when it comes,” she said. “No need to give it life.”
And the miscellaneous lose ends:
Teresa on her cousins Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri: “They’re toxic. I don’t need family that’s toxic.”
The disastrous Vermont trip and the nose jobs: “No. Let me tell you something, it’s the worst kept secret,” Melissa said. Jacqueline butted in and said it was different doctors and Melissa got mad. “Why do you care? It’s the worst kept secret, but it’s my secret to tell. Not yours. Maybe I don’t want me daughter to hear it. Thank you, I’ll let Antonia know now.”
Teresa came to her sister-in-law’s defense in the battle over…nose jobs and Vermont. “You’re a low, dirty bitch. Look at her clown-looking face. It’s disgusting. She’s probably one of the clowns coming around our house. She’s probably one of them.”
And then things got heated when Teresa messed up a saying. “Such a moron, can’t argue with a moron,” Jacqueline said.
The disastrous finale meeting…”What happened was, it was attitude right away. My walls went up,” Jacqueline said. And this is what she was going to tell the women before everything went down the crapper: “Let’s agree to disagree, we’re never going to be friends again, that’s fine. When we’re around each other, let’s respect each other’s boundaries.”
Is there any hope for Jacqueline and Teresa to repair their damaged relationship? “They would both need a lobotomy,” Dolores Catania said.
Teresa said she’ll always have a soft spot in her heart for Jacqueline’s son and would probably come through should Jacqueline need her. After tears over Nicholas and everybody saying they’re great moms, Teresa and Jacqueline had a moment, brought on by Siggy Flicker‘s desire to see everybody hug out.
“We don’t have to be friends, we don’t have to go deep, we don’t have to do any of that…from this moment on, I won’t utter a bad word about you,” Jacqueline said to Teresa.
“Just please, please, I beg you, don’t hurt me and my family. If anyone wants to hurt me, don’t talk to them,” Teresa said.
“Can we have a truce here?” Teresa asked. “All I want is peace.”
And then there was the group hug and host Andy Cohen side-stepped to bring Jacqueline and Teresa closer together. “I have to be the closest to Jacqueline?” Teresa asked.
And there you have it. The countdown to Danielle Staub‘s return is on?
