Tom Cruise Katie Holmes Boycotting Oscars Because They Hate Host Anne Hathaway!

It seems Katie Holmes is still a little salty over old pal Anne Hathaway’s knee-slapping parody of her on Saturday Night Live last November. Just how pissed is Katie? So much so that the Mad Money actress and her hubby Tom Cruise would rather poop razorblades than be seen dead at this year’s Oscars. Why? That nasty Anne is hosting the ceremony!

The Princess Diaries actress will co-host the 83rd Academy Awards with 127 Hours star James Franco when it airs live on ABC Feb. 27 — but she’ll be doing it without a cheering section championed by TomKat.

You see, during her hit hosting stint on SNL, Anne did a pretty hilarious impersonation of Katie talking about her days as Dawson’s Creek’s cult favorite Girl-Next-Door Joey Potter — Holmes’ most famous role. Like, a really, spot-on, talking-out-the-side-of-her-mouth-and-everything impersonation. And although Anne defended the spoof as simply being all in good fun, Queen Katie was not amused!

“Tom and Katie don’t want to have to cross paths with Anne,” a loose-lipped snitch yapped to the UK’s Mail on Sunday over the weekend.

“They used to be friends and took Anne to a Tina Turner concert in 2008 when Anne split up from her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. Katie feels they were really supportive at a difficult time so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her,” the insider adds.

“Anne didn’t even warn her it was going to be on TV. The whole thing has left a sour taste with Tom.”
