Bad-girl figure skater Tonya Harding is expecting her first child with new hubby Joseph Price — a 42-year-old Portland repairman Harding wed June 26 after just two month of dating.
“The former Olympic skater learned she was pregnant just weeks after they began dating — and Joe immediately proposed…” snoops with The National Enquirer spill on the pages of the tabloid’s July 19 edition.
Tonya, 39, is now working to stop drinking and to kick a chain-smoking habit in hopes of delivering a healthy baby.
In 1994, Harding’s then-husband Jeff Gillooly was charged in the attack on her figure skating rival Nancy Kerrigan during a practice session for the US Figure Skating Championship; Harding later admitted she knew of the plot. After a plea bargain, she was banned for life from the US Figure Skating Association.
The shamed skater later embarked on a brief stint as a boxer and has been a regular commentator on truTV’s The Smoking Gun Presents: World’s Dumbest since 2008.
