In April, reports surfaced claiming that ABC is developing a new daytime show for Tori Spelling. The waify former Beverly Hills, 90210 star — who is currently appearing in the fifth season of her reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood with her husband Dean McDermott and their two young children — is in the early stages of developing a new program that she will host on The Alphabet Network.

However, Tori’s plans for a future gabfest on the small screen could vanish faster than Heidi Montag’s recording career, thanks to the socialite’s rail-thin frame. ABC executives are concerned that a secret health battle is to blame for Spelling’s weight woes. Tori, 37, has long denied rumors that she is anorexic, but the network remains unconvinced.

“ABC says Tori is so thin, they are nervous about the stability of her health,” a tattling tipster close yaps on the pages of the July 5 edition of In Touch Weekly. “They’re worried she won’t be able to pull off her own show.”

Tori Spelling’s daytime talk show is tentatively-scheduled to debut on ABC in late 2011.
