Transonic Cimbustion Developed a Fuel-Injection System

Transonic Cimbustion has created a fuel-injection system which is able to better effectiveness of gasoline engines by more than 50 percent. A test vehicle that is based on the technology can get 64 miles per gallon in highway driving which is considered to be much better compared to costly gas-electric hybrids like Prius that gets 48 miles per gallon on the highway.

The main key in this technology is heating and pressurizing gasoline due to which one can get supercritical state due to which combustion is clean and fast that leads to the amount decrease of fuel that is necessary to propel a vehicle. Also the gasoline is treated with a catalyst.

The technology is created to squeeze more efficiency out of existing engines in order to offer new fuel economy standards as well as other regulations, moreover, it does not mean that the vehicle equipped with such technology will be more expensive.

If everything goes smooth , the new technology will better fuel economy, also it can improve efficiency by 20 percent.

The technology was showcased by the company in the test engine. Also Transonic Cimbustion tests it with three automakers.
