Former supermodel Tyra Banks has asked a Los Angeles judge for protection against “mentally unstable celebrity stalker” she believes has been trailing her every move since 2006. In the documents, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday and obtained by TMZ, Tyra seeks a restraining order against Marten Williams, Jr. — a 6’2″, 220 lbs 39-year-old — claiming he has “targeted and harassed and stalked” her.

The America’s Next Top Model claims the man has a history of mental illness and that he believes “he killed George Bush Jr. and that Michael Jackson is alive and living in Long Beach.” Tyra also claims the man has left several “ominous frightening letters and items” at her Beverly Hills home — including his prescription medication, Los Angeles County Jail wristbands, and an invitation to a wedding ceremony set for Jan. 8, 2011… the day he believes he will marry Tyra.

On Wednesday, a judge ordered Williams, Jr. — who was arrested for trespassing at Banks’ Beverly Hills home earlier this month – to stay at least 100 yards away from Tyra and anyone associated with the catwalker until Oct. 28, when a hearing will be held to decide whether the protective order should be made permanent.
