Jessica Simpson’s VH1 reality show is being “retooled” in preparation for its sophomore season, VH1 said this week.
The cable network is working to restructure Jessica Simpson: The Price of Beauty, after a low-rated season of traveling the globe to participate in different beauty regimes. The show was Jessica’s first soiree on the small screen since the conclusion of MTV’s Newlyweds in 2005.
The show will now be focused on makeovers instead of world travel and cultural research.
“We are here to stay with Jessica and are committed to this journey and this message with her about women, self image…all through Jessica’s totally unique and unfiltered lens,” VH1 said in a statement Wednesday.
