Watch Chris Pratt, James Gunn and Kevin Feige Talk ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ for 30 Minutes

Though we’re only three weeks away from Captain America: The Winter Soldier arriving in theaters, Marvel is wasting no time in throwing lots of love and attention in the direction of Guardians of the Galaxy, which will follow Cap’s next adventure and hit screens August 1. 

We’ve heard about it being the riskiest Marvel Studios film to date (in part because it features both a machine gun-wielding raccoon and a giant talking tree), but all that does is make us more excited to see it. Following the film’s first trailer (see below), star Chris Pratt, director James Gunn and Marvel chief Kevin Feige sat down with AMC for a 30-plus-minute conversation about Guardians of the Galaxy, its wild ensemble, the tone they’re going for and how it ties into all the other Marvel movies that came before it.
