Watch List: This week’s 6 must-see shows

Highlight on New Movie Released DVD

Get your TVs ready, because this week promises to be a doozy.

The election is Tuesday (Nov. 8), and even if you aren’t jazzed about the hours and hours of cable news coverage, there are a couple election specials that should prove fun and hilarious to watch.

“Westworld” is also in for a pivotal episode, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg are launching a cooking show (yes, really) and “Supernatural” is doing a callback to a big Season 8 episode.

Here are the six must-see shows for the week of Nov. 6-11.

‘Westworld,’ 9 p.m., Sunday, HBO

We’ve seen this episode and believe us, it’s so good. We can’t say much, but you’ll want to watch this one live.

‘Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party,’ 10 p.m., Monday, VH1

They’re putting the “pot” back in “potluck,” plus welcoming a slew of celebrity guests, from 50 Cent to Jason Derulo to Kathy Griffin.

‘Saturday Night Live Election Special,’ 10 p.m., Monday, NBC

The long national nightmare called the 2016 presidential election is almost over, so celebrate its last 24 hours with your favorite “SNL” impressionists. You know who the real MVPs of 2016 are? Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon.

‘Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Special,’ 11 p.m., Tuesday, Showtime

And then you can celebrate or drown your sorrows, depending on if the election goes the way you want it to, with Stephen Colbert, who is bound to either share your joy or at least make you feel better.

‘Speechless,’ 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, ABC

In the tradition of early “Modern Family,” “Fresh Off the Boat” and “The Goldbergs,” this family comedy is doing some great things on ABC, telling the story of the DiMeo family as their son J.J. (Micah Fowler), who has cerebral palsy, comes into his own as a teenager wanting to fit in.

In “D-A-T-E– Date?,” J.J. has a crush on an injured gymnast who is adjusting to life in a wheelchair and he wants to go on a date with her, like any 16-year-old would. As with everything “Speechless” has done so far, it should be a terrific episode.

‘Supernatural,’ 9 p.m., Thursday, The CW

In a callback to the Season 8 episode “Everybody Hates Hitler,” the Nazi necromancers are back and they’ve now brought the Fuhrer with them, in the form of Hitler’s soul trapped in a 1930s pocket watch. Can Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) prevent the return of one of history’s most odious figures?
