Carmaker rolls out special Don 2 marketing campaigns for Eon as Sonata and Santa Fe take centrestage in film

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL), the country’s largest exporter and the second-largest car maker, is set to give new EON owners a yearend top-of-the-line experience with the film Don2. Hyundai has extensive in-film branding in Don2, with Sonata and the Santa Fe prominently featuring in the film. While Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the Hyundai brand ambassador, is seen driving a Sonata, Priyanka Chopra rides the Santa Fe.
As part of this relationship with SRK and Don2, Hyundai has launched a value-add drive with its recently launched Eon, the stylish and spacious entry level car — Free Don2 posters will be given to all those who participate in Eon test drives being organised at all dealers and lucky draws for Don2 couple tickets will be held at each of these outlets.
Arvind Saxena, Director – Marketing & Sales, HMIL, said, “As Shah Rukh Khan is associated with Hyundai, we want to provide our customers an opportunity to see his new release. Like SRK, the Eon and all our cars are superstars given the popularity they enjoy. The Eon campaign is an opportunity for our customers to see their favourite actors in action in Hyundai cars.”
Hyundai also organised special screenings of Don2 for i20-Uber Trooper Fan Club members in Delhi and Mumbai on December 24 and December 25.
