Eric Bana to Steal Diamonds in Brilliant

Variety is confirming earlier tracking board rumors that Australian actor Eric Bana will be the male lead in Robert Luketic’s diamond heist thriller Brilliant, being produced by Lakeshore Entertainment based on the first screenplay by Gillian Gorfil, producer of Edward Zwick’s Blood Diamond.

Luketic previously directed Legally Blonde, 21, The Ugly Truth and KIllers, the latter for Lakeshore.
