The Darkest Hour Pushed Back to December

Summit Entertainment has pushed back the release date for Timur Bekmambetov-produced sci-fi action-thriller The Darkest Hour from August 5 to December 23.

The Chris Gorak-directed film is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack.

The 3D release stars Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachael Taylor and Joel Kinnaman.
