Russell Brand will star in and produce The President Stole My Girlfriend at Warner Bros. Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter. The comedy was written by Matt Portenoy.

“In this movie, the president steals the girlfriend of a sexy hippieme, obviously,” Brand said. “It was inspired by the night I naively invited [Warners president] Jeff Robinov for dinner.”

Variety reports that Vin Diesel is attached to star in and produce an untitled action thriller written by Unknown screenwriters Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell.

The trade says that Diesel’s One Race Productions is teaming with newly formed company the Ink Factory to produce the project. Diesel and his One Race partner Samantha Vincent will produce with the Ink Factory’s Simon Cornwell
