Russell Brand will star in and produce The President Stole My Girlfriend at Warner Bros. Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter. The comedy was written by Matt Portenoy.
“In this movie, the president steals the girlfriend of a sexy hippieme, obviously,” Brand said. “It was inspired by the night I naively invited [Warners president] Jeff Robinov for dinner.”

In a massive casting report that just went up on The Hollywood Reporter, they mention that actor Russell Crowe is “loosely attached” to play the villain in screenwriter and producer Akiva Goldsman’s directorial debut Winter’s Tale, based on Mark Helprin’s 1983 novel, which is set up at Warner Bros.

Quentin Tarantino is reuniting with two actors he’s worked with before. Kurt Russell, who starred in Tarantino’s Death Proof, is in talks to replace Kevin Costner in the filmmaker’s Django Unchained while Kill Bill Vol. 2 co-star Laura Cayouette is on board as well, says Heat Vision.
