Stanley Kubrick’s debut feature will be making its worldwide TV premiere courtesy of TCM on December 14 at 8 PM. Fear and Desire was the movie Kubrick made in his ’20s, and was a project he wasn’t proud of. Stanley Tucci has signed on as Dr. Abraham Erskine in the eagerly-anticipated superhero flick Captain America: The First Avenger, Variety said Monday. Tucci joins Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, and Sebastian Stan in the movie, which goes into production in London later this month. Captain America sails into theaters July 22, 2011. More
