‘My Strange Addiction’ season premiere: An exclusive sneak peek of ‘The Rat Lady’ (VIDEO)

Season 2 of TLC’s fascinating and harrowing docu-reality series My Strange Addiction debuts tonight with two back-to-back episodes (10 p.m. ET). You can watch an exclusive clip of Theresa, 56, who splits her love unevenly among her 52 hairless rats and her own daughter, after the jump. But since I understand you probably cannot (because EWWWWW.com), I’ve put together a fun/tragic list of the first episode’s most profound spoken lines.

Theresa, addicted to hairless rats:

“My daughter gave me a very strong ultimatum that it was her or the rats. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”

“You can make spaghettis for [the rats]. Pizza, chocolate, and cupcakes.”

Jazz, 48, addicted to growing her fingernails:

“I just can’t stop loving my kids, so how can I stop loving my nails?”

“It’s just a dream that’s become a reality, and I don’t care to wake up from this dream.”

“I don’t think people know the things I have to go through…. It’s worth it to me, because I am me and I love me.”

“If the doctor told me I would have to cut my nails, I would not cut my nails.

Episode 2 (10:30 p.m. ET) features Evan, who’s addicted to fishing long, brown hair from other people’s shower drains, and Nicole, who has been secretly breaking apart walls for seven years in order to eat drywall. Suddenly, sleeping with a blow dryer and nibbling at laundry detergent — addictions we witnessed during the halcyon days of season 1 — sound like child’s play. Laundry detergent is right there in the room! I’m glad TLC is stepping it up for season 2.

And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for: Here are how 10 very colorful 24-inch nails look as they attempt to crack open some lobster.

Eat up! Anyone else tuning in tonight?
