Whoa Baby! It’s a boy for Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro.
The owner of Carlo’s Bake Shop and star of the TLC baking hit welcomed a son this week after wife Lisa gave birth to Carlo Salvatore at 5:11 PM in Livingston, New Jersey on Feb. 14, PEOPLE reports.
“We feel so blessed to welcome a healthy new baby into our family. Lisa’s doing great and we can’t wait to bring Carlo home,” a beaming Buddy says.
Baby Carlo takes his middle name of Salvatore from Sal Picinich, a longtime employee of Carlo’s Bakery who died of cancer in January. Picinich is the same man who sold the sweet hut to Buddy’s dad way back in 1964. The couple’s new addition joins siblings Sofia, 7, Buddy, 6, and Marco, 3, at home.
Carlo’s birth will be featured in a one-hour special airing March 6 @ 9 PM on TLC.
