Get ready, TV lovers. New Year’s falling on a weekend means a gluttony of TV marathons and sports to feast your eyes on.
Since it’s not a family-heavy holiday, the networks are pulling out the big guns — “Game of Thrones,” “Homeland,” “Humans,” “The Walking Dead” and TBS’ new lineup of five original comedies are just a few of the excellent TV options for the upcoming holiday. There’s also a three-day, 24-hour “Twilight Zone” marathon on Syfy if you feel like gettin’ freaky for New Year’s.
