Women’s viagra Flibanserin fails to impress the FDA

Two new clinical trials have shown that the female viagra called Flibanserin was a failure in giving boost to women’s sexual desire. The clinical results are now available on website of The Food and Drug Administration.

Now a panel of experts will decide by vote whether or not its approval for use should be recommended. Though there is some success achieved through the drug, but the FDA staff does not see as ‘particularly compelling’.

However, manufacturer Boehringer Ingelhein has maintained that flibandserin works well and has said that the drug is able to increase a woman’s global desire, suggesting that its effects are rather subtle.
